For more than a century, the Craig family of central West Virginia has been deeply rooted in the forestry and forest products industry — acquiring, milling, and delivering the premium wood materials used in custom log homes and cabins. In response to growing demand for quality log home packages and expertly crafted materials, Ronald Craig and his son, Stephen, founded Mountain State Log Homes in 1978 to provide homeowners with durable, handcrafted West Virginia log homes built to last.
Today, Mountain State Log Homes has produced and delivered materials for more than 1,400 custom log homes, mountain retreats, retirement log homes, and luxury cabins across the United States. From thoughtfully designed log home floor plans to premium building materials and personalized support, we continue to strengthen our reputation as a trusted log home manufacturer and custom log home builder committed to excellence in design, craftsmanship, and customer care.
