Wood glows
Highlights wood’s natural beauty by enhancing the unique grain patterns.
Easy to dust
Creates a smooth surface that’s easy to clean with a damp cloth or feather duster.
Moves with your logs
Highly elastic to move as your logs move, shrink, twist, and bend as they age and move over time.
Easy water cleanup
No smelly mineral spirits are required. Nose friendly.
Will Symphony turn yellow over time?
Symphony itself will not yellow. It’s what we call non-aliphatic. However, the wood underneath Symphony will yellow over time and could cause some wonderful yellow outlines around anything you hang on the wall. To avoid this, we recommend you use Colorfast under Symphony. Colorfast is a powerful antioxidant that prevents yellowing of the wood itself over time.
Can I use cleaners on Symphony?
In most cases, just water will do the trick. However, on stubborn dirt, you can use gentle cleaners. Stay away from anything harsh that might strip the finish off the wood.
How many coats of Symphony should I apply?
To get the best sheen build and cleanability, it’s best to apply at least 2 coats if you’re using Symphony alone.
Do I need to sand between coats of Symphony?
Need to? Nope. Might you want to in order to create a really smooth surface? Yes. If you decide to sand between coats, just do a light buff with either Buffy Pads or 220 grit sandpaper.
